Safe Streets and Roads for All
Building a transportation network that is safe and accessible for all.
Building a transportation network that is safe and accessible for all.
The City of Cincinnati is committed to building and supporting a transportation network that is safe for drivers, pedestrians, bicyclists, and transit users.
The City of Cincinnati is conducting a study funded through a federal grant program known as Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A). The SS4A program provides local communities with resources to develop action plans and build safety-related projects that aim to reduce roadway fatalities and serious injuries for every user, including drivers, pedestrians, bicyclists, and transit users.
Together with local partners, community leaders, and neighborhood residents, the city is identifying corridors where safety improvements can be implemented to advance the city’s transportation goals. Public input will support the prioritization process as the city seeks construction funding for future projects.

Interactive Map
The interactive map below represents an analysis of traffic crashes on non-interstate roads in the City of Cincinnati from 2019 through 2023. The top corridors where serious and fatal traffic incidents have occurred during that time frame are presented.
You can click on each corridor to see more information about the number and severity of crashes that took place. The city needs your input to help decide which corridors we will prioritize as we begin seeking funding for improvements. Please use the survey to let us know which three corridors you think should be prioritized first.
